There is magic in the natural world, I don’t think it is always visible with the naked eye so I like to bring it out in my paintings, to show the beauty and mystery that is all around us. Each of my paintings represents the playful and whimsical element that is present in all of Earth’s creations. A child-like wonder is needed in order to see that magic.
When you spend time with my paintings you may feel a resurgence of the joy and wonder you experienced as a child; when you went on grand adventures in your back yard, and every flower, bug, critter, plant and rock were an amazing discovery of infinite possibility.

Happy creating!
I have always had an affinity for Watercolor as a medium. Water is the element representative of emotions and I love the way that working with water and paint allows for all that I feel to flow out onto the paper. I started painting in May of 2013 after attending a weekend retreat where one of the activities was a watercolor painting workshop. When I returned home from that retreat I purchased some beginner supplies and started painting. I have since bought several books on watercolor painting, upgraded my paint supplies and have taught myself the techniques that bring my paintings to life. I have immensely enjoyed the transformation of my artwork and my own creative process along the way. I am grateful to be able to share my work with you.
The creative process is a wonderful healing tool. It helps us connect to ourselves on a deeper level by being in the present moment and practicing self-expression. Self-expression is an integral part of a healthy body, mind and spirit, and artistic mediums such as painting allow for that expression in a very beautiful way.
It is my hope that my love for painting will inspire you to your own creative expressions and as a result bring healing into your life as well.
